Portrait of Aléna

Aléna

Aléna fell in love with aerial silks in 2019 — love at first touch. What began as a personal practice quickly became a calling, and she started teaching almost right away, going on to earn her L1 and L2 certification with Aerial Physique in Los Angeles.

Since then, silks have taken her further than she ever expected — new cities, new stages, and a community of aerialists that feels like family wherever she lands.

French by birth and now based in Lisbon, Portugal, Aléna teaches seamlessly in Portuguese, English or French — so language is never a barrier to finding your flow.

As a teacher, Aléna is known for her patience and care: breaking beginner technique down step by step so nothing feels out of reach, and guiding intermediate students toward flow, artistry and silkography. Whichever stage you're at, she meets you exactly where you are.

She is also the founder of Aerialness Retreats, an intensive week of silks held every year for aerialists ready to immerse themselves fully in their practice.

Silks changed her life. Let's change yours.

A studio without walls

The concept is simple: care while flying. Every session respects your body and where you are in your journey, whether that's your very first climb or your hundredth drop. There's no single "right" way to move in the silks — our goal is to help you find your own style, your own rhythm, and a space to truly express yourself.

Aerialness is built around flexibility. Whether you want to train solo, in a small group, or fly with friends, classes are scheduled around you — book your spot anytime, straight from the calendar.

Train hard, fly light

Behind every effortless-looking trick is real, focused conditioning. At Aerialness, that training is woven into every class rather than treated as a separate gym routine. You'll build genuine strength, open up a range of motion you didn't know you had, and sharpen the kind of body awareness that makes movement feel instinctive instead of forced. Some come for the workout, others for the art form — most end up finding both.

Everyone is welcome on the silks, whatever your body type, age or background. If you've been curious, that's reason enough to try your first class.
